Gary Leddington

Supernova, 2011

Antwerp based artist G. Leddington presents us two identical Kodak sav slide projectors in his sculpture called Supernova. Those projectors are synchronized to activate the slide change mechanism every 30 seconds. But instead of leading to an image on the wall, the two projectors contain no slide film and more thαn this, no magazine at all. They refer to an automatic rhythm and they seem not to care about the content at all. The lights of those two projectors explode in infinity.
